How We Select Products For You

We follow a suitability-first process before recommending any mutual fund, PMS or other product:

  1. Understand you — a structured conversation (and risk-profiling questionnaire where applicable) covering your goals, time horizon, income, existing investments, liabilities and comfort with risk.
  2. Map to a category — matching your profile to a broad category (debt, hybrid, equity, PMS, etc.) using the SEBI Riskometer as a guide, not just a scheme's past returns.
  3. Evaluate specific schemes/products — track record, fund manager/AMC quality and stability, expense ratio, risk-adjusted returns, and consistency of style — never how much commission a scheme pays us.
  4. Recommend and review — you make the final decision; we revisit your portfolio periodically (at least annually, or when your circumstances change) to check it still fits.
What we won't do: recommend a product primarily because of the commission it pays us, encourage frequent switching/churn without genuine reason, or push a product outside your stated risk profile without flagging it to you in writing first.
